title = "Me tene ne fugiam. I ceppi da schiavo del santuario di Tas Silg.",
abstract = "The paper deals with some ankle-shackles found in the sanctuary of Tas-Silg in Malta. Foud in the backfill of a ritual pool, they are believed to be the offer of a former slave to the goddess Hera. The custom of thanking the gods for the retrieved freedom in the Greek and Hellenistic word is investigated, and several parallels are described in order to try and reconstruct the cults and rituals performed on site.",
