Abstract
The prevalence of celiac disease (CD) has been reported to be on the rise in both Europe and the United States, and an early detection of the disease represents a key factor in the prevention of malignant and nonmalignant complications. Low high density lipoprotein cholesterol concentration may be a sign of celiac disease.
