Abstract
Viktor Frankl's existential analysis, underlying the spiritual essence of the person, stresses the importance of meaning and values in human behavior. A study of the correct interpretation of these concepts in the frame of franklian thought shows to what extent existential analysis is deeply rooted in phenomenological tradition, arguing that logotherapy is confronted not only with intellectual or cognitive dimensions, but with the emotional and existential perception of meaning and values.
