Abstract
This article explores the role of Italian as an international language, investigating the relationships formed around the world through Italian language and culture. Starting with the economic and productive processes linked to the spread of Italian products, it provides an assessment of Italian's current international position. It also examines the role of terminology as a tool for knowledge transfer.
