Abstract
The willingness to include others is a crucial aspect of educational work and first of all involves those who practice the art of educating: the beliefs, emotional experiences, and communicative and relational styles they implement in their daily lives, through which multiple messages - more or less inclusive - are perceived by each individual. For teachers and educators, it is therefore necessary to exercise a careful look primarily at oneself - at their own attitudes of openness and/or closure - as an essential condition to promote in children and young people the attitude to include others, as well as to stimulate authentic positive relationships among themselves. This is based on the belief that educational attention to group dynamics can represent, from a systemic perspective, a valuable resource to encourage attitudes of respect and collaboration among students in a preventive way, training them to question their own frames of reference and to decode the emotions that arise from interactions, as well as to experiment with ways of relating that are different from their usual ones and thus broaden their personal experiential field
