Abstract
Within the yearly Italian Report on Migrations (1996’s edition) realised by the ISMU Foundation – the main Italian scientific institution on migrations and interethnic cohabitation – this chapter focuses the attention on migrants’ integration within the Italian urban contexts. Thanks to the results of various recent researches it points the attention on some strategic topics, stressing the importance of social dialogue and outlining the prospect of a “welfare community”.
