Abstract
In the fourth book of his History of the Empire after Marcus Herodian says nothing\r\nabout the Constitutio Antoniniana of 212 since in his representation of Caracalla,\r\naimed at portraying the imperator as a violent and bloody tyrant only interested in\r\nmilitary life, intends to exclude all the civil measures of his reign.
