Abstract
This Article focuses on the harmonization process of the legal professions, particularly of lawyers and notaries, within the EU internal market and its developments through two different perspectives: on the one hand, it looks at the impact of the freedom of establishment and the free movement of services on the lawyers and notaries’ competencies and on their access to the market; on the other hand, it analyses the implications of the EU competition law on the legal professions.
