Abstract
The essay reflects on the success of Italian Tv series who have an explicit religious content, like the Tv series Don Matteo. Their success is connected both with the quality (especially in writing) of the products but also to the openness of the audience to religious content, when it is delivered in a professional way and in hagh quality products.
