Abstract
The paper explores the topic of evaluation in the school context both from theorical and
methodological point of view. In particular, the attention is focused on three turning
points: a) the relationship among measurement, evaluation and decision making, b)
the integration between internal and external evaluative practices, c) the virtuous circle
between evaluation and professional and organizational development.
