Abstract
The essay analyses the Italian regulatory framework of transformation from an entity (usually but not necessarily a company) to a different entity (also in this case usually but not necessarily a company). It is composed of four chapters: the first chapter defines the operative framework of the transformation in general, the second analyse the regulation valid for any kind of transformation, the third considers the most frequent transformation, the one between companies, and the last examines the other types of transformation.
