Abstract
Although organizational leadership is an area of traditional concern to both scholars and practitioners, in today’s landscape deep changes are being required and prompted in the way of conceiving and practicing it. Based on this, current implications of leadership processes in the workplace are discussed, taking into account insights offered by a set of emerging participatory and humanistic leadership models. Furthermore, connections with the thought of the Church are suggested, by also stressing the relevance of the concept of “Christian leadership”.
