The paper aims to reflect on the possibility to set up new training programs that are able to raise the social value of the family. This implies an enhancement, which is already in place, of the practice of family empowerment, going towards the construction of sociality widespread implementation of participatory processes, the development of the territory inhabited by the community. The pedagogical devices that underlie these practices are aimed at generating attitudes of recognition, acceptance, trust, care that make parenting a resource for the community but also a formative opportunity for fathers and mothers, put in a position to acquire greater awareness of their potential, skills and knowledge.
