Abstract
The paper aims to analyse the evolution of the canon law about the cremation and the dispersion of faithful's ashes. Particularly, the paper comments the last document of the Congregation for the Doctine of the Faith "Ad resurgendum cum Christo", which introduces some important innovations in the canon law about that subject.
