Abstract
The evaluation of Europe 2020 Strategy must be carried out as an on-going evaluation aimed at following and supporting the implementation of the strategy itself. The profile and technical structure of this evaluation depends on 4 elements: the Europe 2020 contents; the evaluation proposals formulated by the Barca Report; the evaluation tradition of EC; the most influent theories about policy evaluation.
