Abstract
The critical situation due to the pandemic emergency enhanced the need for care and education, especially amongst the more vulnerable children and families. This paper suggests some interpretive lines for helping people to recover from uncertainty and despair, as an introduction to the Pedagogy of care panel in the Proceedings of the National Congress of the Italian Society of Pedagogy (Milan, 14-16 Jan, 2021).
