La consulenza educativa in consultorio

The article illustrates the concept of pedagogical counseling, a resource aimed at enhancing the educational potential inherent in individuals, couples, and families who seek assistance at family counseling centers. This type of counse- ling works towards a full understanding of the trouble situation and tries to elicit the necessary changes in the counselees’ educational dynamics and in so doing improve them, by emphasizing the individual’s self-determination and self-education potential. After specifying the difference between clinical and pedagogical counseling, the article goes on to describe the pedagogical counselor’s role, also in relation to the counseling team.
