Abstract
Openness to life, the center of the human family, is emerging as regulative goal of reflection on the meaning of educating. In the encyclical of Benedetto XVI Caritas in Veritate, the fifth chapter is titled "The cooperation of the human family." The term family asks for a deeper critical evaluation of the category of the report to the responsible protection of creation.
