Abstract
As the twentieth century draws towards its end, it is natural for economic historians to look back and try to assess the major breakthroughs that have taken place. In spite of criticisms, hesitations and attacks, John Maynard Keynes remains a giant among economists of the twentieth century. The chapter aims to review Keynes’s novel economic theory which can be seen as a ‘revolution’.
