Abstract

They are the real owners of fitness centers. Most of the confessors who hold health and beauty of people. They make you jump, lift weights, sweating, all in the name of better physical and mental shape. But who are they and where they come from teachers who populate Italian gyms? What may distinguish a qualified instructor or personal trainer for many incompetents, with little art, but a lot of hand work in the Italian sports facilities. Here's what the situation.\r\nTHERE IS NO LAW\r\nThis is certainly not new. Who is a veteran in the industry knows that there is no law regulating the access to this profession. An architect, a cook, a gardener, anyone could wake up one morning and decide to become an instructor in a fitness center. Legal obligations? No! Not a diploma or an attestation to the professionalism and competence of those who make a trade so delicate. In Italy, for now, there is no law that defines the requirements that an instructor must have a fitness center. In this way it is sufficient but not necessary, that any person attending a course whatever, usually a few days or at most a few weekends to get it all right to be called instructors, and being engaged in a fitness center. Everything is regulated by common sense of the owners of gyms. To them it is, in fact, the choice and the decision of who to work. However, in addition to common sense, there is also a moral duty towards those who pay the subscription.
