Abstract

The principle of unification is an essential criterion for Arab-Islamic civilization. And yet, in a world that tends towards contradiction, this ideal is hardly achieved. The solution has historically been seen in the search for the concordance of opposites. Dialectical modernity throws this solution into crisis.
