Abstract
Person and education identify foundationally constitutional elements of a pedagogical reflexion and the reference to the value of the person and to the various contexts of the educational experience relentlessly recur through the book. The volume outlines the reasons for an environmental education which aims at the analysis of the relation between human training and the environment with respect to diverse historical and social aspects, by considering the challenges posed by the sustainability of economical development and of political decision making.
