Introduction

Introduction to a special issue of Studi e Saggi Linguistici that, by providing an overview of the various lemmatization processes and criteria applied in a number of linguistic resources and NLP tools for Latin, seeks to highlight their differences and commonalities, and points to interoperability as the necessary, nay, urgent, next step. Indeed, an efficient interaction of lemmatized linguistic resources can only be achieved in a dynamic ecosystem as that made possible by the Linked Data framework.
