Abstract
A 24-year-old female patient was admitted to our department because of 2 weeks history of progressive weakness and loss of sensation of lower limbs. One month before, the patient experienced an episode of intense low back pain treated with analgesic drugs. On admission, neurological examination showed severe weakness and loss of sensation of lower limbs, urinary incontinence, hyper-reflexia and signs of spasticity of lower extremities.
