Abstract

From the viewpoint of international law, the relationship among law, memory, and oblivion has long attracted great interest. The instruments for balancing oblivion and memory vary considerably from one experience to another, but today the question that arises is whether the traditional view that they can be balanced is still valid, or whether new constraints have since been placed on this relationship.
