Abstract
Transcutaneous continuous glucose monitoring was applied to sleep apnea patients during the diagnostic polygraphic test and during the first night on CPAP therapy. we found a relationship between high glucose levels and insulin resistance parameters and nocturnal hypoxemia. During the first night on CPAP therapy, the variability of glucose levels remained elevated. suggesting that sympathetic activity was still elevated
