Abstract
This work deals with the relation between Elizabethan England and Ireland. The relation is described starting from some important historical facts and through the texts written by some great personalities of the English Literature, like Sidney and Spenser, and by some soldiers, travellers and diplomats who spent a part of their lives in Ireland.
