Abstract
The present contribution explores the research activity carried out by the Alta Scuola per l’Ambiente (ASA) in the project entitled “Integral Ecology for the Rights of the Child”. In particular, on the action called «En- couragement of solidarity-based businesses generating alternatives at work». Green transition towards a cir- cular economy necessitates structural changes in both production and consumption models as well as the ne- ed to acquire new knowledge and skills. It is crucial to understand how such transformation, involving com- panies, can become a training opportunity for social sustainability, with a positive impact on communities and territories, enhancing both tangible and intangible resources and relationships.
