Abstract
This book focuses on liability of legal entities, with special attention to current provisions in the Republic of Macedonia. First, it provides the reader with an analysis of the recent supranational developments in the field, as well as with a comparative overview of how such supranational developments have been implemented by EU Member States. Human rights issues arising from these provisions are also discussed. It then specifically focuses on the Macedonian situation, with an extensive commentary to the relevant substantial and procedural provisions actually into force (law in the books) and with the examination of current implementation of existing provisions (law in action) by looking at statistics and case studies and by addressing recurring uncertainties/doubts in the interpretation and implementation of the law.
