Abstract
This essay introduces the final report of a comparative research (directed and co-edited by the Author) about the migrant workers’ access to pension rights in three countries: Italy, Germany and Spain. Focusing the attention on the relationship between immigration and citizenship’s rights, it stresses the risk that the procedures of migrants’ inclusion/exclusion in the system of rights give rise to new forms of social iniquities and new challenges for the social cohesion.
