Abstract
In the context of the annual ISMU Report on Migration, this chapter discusses the latest data on foreign participation in the Italian labor market, highlighting the main critical factors. Looking to the future, it highlights the importance of immigrants' current and potential contribution to Italy's demographic landscape and discusses some challenges for migration and labor market governance systems.
