Abstract
The essays shows how second generation immigrants live in Italy according to their family situation at the arrival: 1) separated children (without family); young newcomers migrated with their family or born in Italy by immigrant parents; 2) newcomers joining the before-migrated family. Each family situation can affect the insertion process of the young migrants as well as the ways by which they overtake to the developmental tasks related to growing up through migration.
