Abstract
This essay intends to present the characteristics of a project that has been present for many years in the schools of Piacenza. This project is based on the principle of providing a structured response to school discomfort, through the implementation of an educational collaboration between the local authority, the third sector and the school system. It is on the basis of this principle that organisational, planning and operational devices have been developed. The experience described allows us to grasp some aspects of the collaboration between school and territory but also to highlight lines for improvement.
