Abstract
Moving from two important figures of italian Restoration, Federigo Sclopis and Pasquale Liberatore, this study focus on the formation, on the spirit and on the content of neapolitan and italian civil codification from the Napoleonic period to the unification of Italy. In this paper, the author also intends to consider whether to investigate the civil code in its implementation into the society using the Observatory of the jurisprudence.
