Abstract
This paper, based on documents in the Ospedale Maggiore Archive and in the Archivio Civico of Milan, wants explain question about jurisdiction of the Capitolo della Ca’Granda that was in charge of the administration of the Ospedale Maggiore. The research reconstructed the facts and people belonging to the Capitolo during the all period from San Carlo’s Episcopacy (1560) to Cardinal Monti’s Episcopacy (1650).
