Abstract
In the history studies is very difficult to read about children’s thought because is difficult to find sources. In the history of education, children’s magazines are e new field of research to know the role of real readers and ideal readers among the pages and out of them. At the beginning of the Twenty Century young Italian readers were active, they chose their readings and read the magazines selectively. The paper reconstructs this processing.
