Abstract
The article deals with the Anglo-Saxon invasion of Iraq of 2003, in order to destroy the brutal regime of Saddam Husseyn. Written mostly before the intervention, it analyses the confused and contradictory reasons that the Bush Administration used in order to justify the war and the lack of a coherent political strategy for the post conflict management
