Abstract
The syncopated rate at which mankind exploits the planet’s natural resources is harming the potential of life for future generations: adults have the inescapable task of educating the young to take care of themselves, their own humanity and the environment that hosts them. Young people need to learn how to make the right choices to qualify their identity and personal life plan.
Nowadays the need to nurture a culture of sustainability, capable of training the young to develop an ecological conscience, to make responsible choices when it comes to their consumption and mobility, and to save energy and set up innovative creative enterprises, turns out to be necessary. This is possible through sustainable educational planning, which perceives the environment as a resource full of educational value: namely, by providing room for hope and improvement.
