Abstract
Giovanni Bernardo De Rossi perfectly inserted his interests in the most ancient Hebrew printing production into the European bibliographic scholarship. Yet it is also noticeable that he is committed to discussing themes which are strictly related to the history of printing and its techniques. In this regard his contributions on a short German block book and Alessandro Paganino’s famous Arabic Quran stand out.
