Abstract
Luigi Veronesi, protagonist of Italian and European abstract art in the 1930s, continued his artistic journey in the post-war period according to a coherence of experimentation, redefining the characteristics of his creative process. New subjects and new pictorial methods, influenced also by his research in the field of photography, produced a change of direction in the Fifties, which may present tangencies with the art of "informel". In reality, the dialogue with forms of "organic" nature, as the artist himself defines them, pushed him to expand the models of abstraction that characterize his paintings. The relationship with MAC (Movimento Arte Concreta) and with international perspectives contributed to outlining a compositional model that would produce a synthesis between abstract geometry and organic forms, in the solutions he developed in the mid-a960s.
