Abstract
The essay is the introduction to a special issue of the magazine dedicated to the theme Generations, media, and time. It reconstructs the topicality of the problem posed by the special issue, which collects the results of a double workshop conducted at the Catholic University of Milan and Söderton University in Stockholm.
