Abstract
Fragilities, loneliness, diseases of the soul, alienation and indifference are central topics today in pedagogical reflection. Even more so in life situations of difficulty, people ask to be helped to take care of themselves and others. This paper faces the relationship of help with regard to a pedagogical perspective of the centrality of the person and an hermeneutics attentive to the fragility. The central position of the person in education constitutes a fundamental acquisition of contemporary educational reflection as a result of taking care of needs, requirements, expectations and diversity of the people. But it can be reactivated through an educational relationship of help oriented to the inner world of people.
