Forme di trascendenza

In the multiple historical forms of metaphysics, transcendence takes on different meanings. In particular, the distinction introduced by Heidegger regarding the difference of the transcendent from the contingent and from the immanent is analysed. The first way leads to a strong sense of transcendence, for which being cannot coincide with the totality of beings. The second way starts from the structures of consciousness and is the itinerary proposed in general by phenomenology. The original event of transcendence is then considered as an anticipation of meaning, which reaches expression in analogical and symbolic language.
