Chapter 14 of the "Philocalia" provides the reader with critical observations concerning Origen's method of reading and exegesis of the Scriptures. Notably, the study of the "elements of language" (τὰ λογικά) introduces the exegete to the full understanding of the meaning of the text and the related solution of its προβλήματα.
