Farsi carico del dialogo sociale. Le spese e gli investimenti della Provincia di Milano negli anni Cinquanta e Sessanta

The research aims to reconstruct the social policies of the Province of Milan at the beginning of the Golden Age. All questions concerning the contrast with social issues are placed within the model of Italian Welfare. Social policies and assistance have been shaped by the weight of the industrial system. The same model have experienced all the effects of path dependence typical of socio-economic processes. In this context, the share of resources allocated to assistance was minority. On the methodological research analyzes for the Province of Milan, the combined effect of the design culture with the institutional structure and public policy, with particular attention to the organization and cost of services .
