Abstract
The chapter explores intergenerational solidarity linking older adults, adults, and children, focusing on their relationships in terms of exchanges of space, time, and money. Despite the significant changes that families have undergone in recent years, intergenerational solidarity has remained resilient through these transformations. This is due both to the strong emotional bonds that characterize Italian families and to the institutional weakness in addressing the needs of the most vulnerable family members.
