Abstract
[Ita:]Thanks to material held in the Archives of the ex-Sant'Uffizio and the Diocesan Historical Archives in Milano, it was possible to sketch Achille Ratti's special interest in art history and Pius XI's critical judgment of contemporary art, particularly the interpretive clue of the Ambrosian magazine “Arte Cristiana.”
