Abstract
The paper aims to deepen, in a pedagogical perspective, the value of educational communication in promoting educational and humanization processes within complex society (Morin, 2007). After a critical dive into the theme of the information society and related drifts, we will investigate the concept of polar opposition (Guardini, 2022), to know and understand the complexity, and the relational dimension constituting human existence. The purpose is the recovery of the relationship with the world of things, people, and values. Without taking sides between ‘apocalyptic or integrated’ (Eco, 1977), it will examine in which way the educational discourse could provide transformative learning, to identify concrete ways of human liberation.
