Abstract

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected people exhibit a high incidence of vascular diseases. Since in the general population the high cardiovascular risk has been associated with an impaired endothelial cell function, we investigated circulating endothelial progenitor cells in HIV-positive patients.
