Abstract
Elisa Buzzi’s anthropological and moral reflection, whose highlights are presented in this review, mainly focuses on the concepts of “person” and “therapy”. The first section of the work is specifically dedicated to the analysis of reductionism, a “powerful cultural bias”, in its historical development. In the second part of the book, “the therapeutic relationship” and its conceptual horizon are at the center of the study. In an important chapter, discussing with some authors of the contemporary debate, Buzzi analyzes the subject of the doctor-patient relationship and the person in the complexity of his/her different dimensions.
